Complex training issue

A large government body was in the process of transforming itself into an independent agency. Fources prepared the way in terms of keeping the training issues under control.

Transition to cost-benefits system

A major government body was faced with a transition from a liabilities-cash system to a cost-benefits system. This transition had a number of consequences for the knowledge, skills and the attitude of the employees. Instead of input, they needed to manage on output in future, and this also required a different setup of the administration.

Wide-ranging training process required

A wide-ranging training process was required to prepare the employees for the transition. As often, the client’s requests were extremely complex. There were many participants in many different locations, enormous variations in training needs, and above all, an enormous range in starting levels – from people with intermediate vocational training to those with academic qualifications; the factor ‘time’ also played a major role. Fources needed to bring a large number of participants to the level set out by the client in a short period of time.

Unexpected bonus

Fources ensured that the participants were taken through the process properly and quickly - with a prior test to measure their starting level and training needs, and an excellent range of education and training packages. By co-operating with mainstream educational institutions, the participants were able to complete their retraining process with officially recognised certificates or credits. This was an unexpected bonus for the client and the participants.

ESF subsidy

Fources set up the training process transparently and efficiently, as this was a precondition to gain maximum benefits from the European subsidy opportunities. The subsidies cut the client’s costs by 50%. Read more about ESF-subsidies.
